Privacy Policy

The game stores puzzle values, notes, completed stages, unlocked journeys, time played, settings, and hint balance in its local app storage. A previous save is retained locally for recovery. We do not upload these saves to our servers. Android app backup is disabled in the current game build.

Local saves remain until you clear app storage or uninstall. These actions remove your game progress and hint balance. Progress previously synced with Google Play Games may be restored by signing into the same profile and choosing Sync progress. Unsynced progress and device-only hints cannot be restored.

Google Play Games may authenticate your existing Play Games profile when the game opens, according to your Google settings. We receive a game-scoped player identifier and display name to show connection status and associate achievements, scores, and saves with that profile. You can continue playing offline if authentication is unavailable. We do not request your contacts or friends list.

When connected, the game sends earned achievements and counts of completed puzzles to Google. Your gamer profile and leaderboard scores may be visible to other players according to Google Play Games settings.

Open Settings, then Google Play Games, and choose Sync progress to upload and retrieve puzzle boards, notes, elapsed time, completed stages, journey progress, and recovery versions using Google Play Games Saved Games. Use this on each device with the same profile. Hint balances, device preferences, and ad consent choices are not included. A local hash of the player identifier prevents this device save from being synced to a different profile by accident.

Cloud saves are held by Google in the game's application data area. The integration does not access other Drive files. Google also processes service activity, device information, and diagnostic data to operate and secure Play Games. We do not operate a separate account or cloud-save server. Manage automatic sign-in, profile visibility, and game data through Google Play Games settings.

Sudoku Garden uses Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads and Google's User Messaging Platform to obtain and manage privacy choices where required. Watching an ad is optional; you can solve puzzles without watching one. The advertising and consent services may contact Google when the app opens or loads an ad, even if you do not choose to watch a video.

Google's advertising SDK can process your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, advertising and other device identifiers, app/ad interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google uses and shares this information to deliver and measure advertising, provide analytics, and prevent fraud. We do not request access to your precise location, contacts, microphone, or camera for gameplay.

Where available, open the game menu, choose Settings, then Ad privacy choices to review your choices. You can also manage your advertising ID in Android settings. Ad availability and personalization depend on your choices, region, device settings, and Google's services.

If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you provide, such as a description of an issue or a screenshot. We use this information to respond and resolve your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information.

Visiting these support pages also involves ordinary website processing, including access logs with your IP address, request time, and requested URL. See our website privacy policy for information about the website.

Google processes Play Games, saved-game, advertising, and consent information under its own policies. Our email and hosting providers process support messages and website requests to operate those services. Providers may process information outside your country. The game has no separate developer-operated gameplay analytics backend.

Google's mobile advertising SDK encrypts its data in transit. We use HTTPS for these pages and restrict access to our support systems. No network or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Local game data is retained on your device as described above. Support communications are retained as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold; any information that must be retained for a legal obligation will be explained in our response.

Google controls the retention of information processed by its services. Clearing the game's storage does not delete information already held by Google. Use Google's privacy and account controls for that information. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing and to withdraw consent.

See data-deletion instructions. There is no separate developer-managed Sudoku Garden account to delete, and deleting local progress does not require contacting us.

Sudoku Garden is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not ask players to enter a name, email address, or date of birth in the game. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent personal information to our support team, contact us so we can assist with deletion of information we hold. Advertising-related information is handled by Google as described above.
