Hokm

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Innovative Software Technology(“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the Hokm mobile game (the “App”). Hokm is a card game with offline play against computer opponents and optional online multiplayer. Versions with online play and Google Play Games process the information described below; older offline-only versions do not use our multiplayer accounts or servers.

Request deletion of your Hokm account and data

Information used for gameplay

Offline play. Game preferences and local progress are stored on your device. Playing offline does not require a multiplayer account. Advertising and Google Play Games can still use a network connection when available.

Online guest accounts. When you use online play, the App sends a randomly generated installation identifier to our game server to create or restore a guest account. The server stores an account identifier, a generated player name, and authentication information. The installation identifier is generated by the App; it is not your advertising ID.

Google Play Games. On supported Android versions, the App checks Google Play Games sign-in and can display your player name. If you choose to use your Google Play Games account for online play, the App sends a one-time authorization code to our server. The server verifies it with Google and associates your Google player identity with a game account. The App does not receive your Google password. Google processes information under its own privacy policy and your Play Games settings.

Multiplayer activity. Our servers process room codes, matchmaking requests, account and connection identifiers, card actions, match state, and scores to run games, reconnect players, and enforce the rules. Other players in your match can see your game username, team, connection status, and public gameplay actions. Your private hand is sent only to you.

Connection information. Our hosting and network services process IP addresses and request information to deliver and protect online services. Service records include account data, active-room references, and request timing used to limit excessive requests. Session tokens are also stored on your device so you can reconnect without signing in again each time.

Advertising

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information automatically, such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, approximate location derived from IP, and interactions with ads. This processing is carried out by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google’s own policies:

Permissions

The App requests the Internet permission for advertisements, Google Play Games, authentication, and online multiplayer. The App does not ask for access to your contacts or precise device location.

Your choices

You can limit ad personalisation or reset your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads). You can also clear the App’s locally stored settings from your device’s app settings. You can choose offline play and manage Google Play Games sign-in through your Google settings. Clearing App data or uninstalling removes local information, but does not delete a server-side account and may prevent you from recovering a guest account.

Data retention

Local preferences and saved sign-in information remain on your device until you clear App data or uninstall. Multiplayer account records and account-associated service records remain on our server until the account is deleted; they do not automatically expire when you stop playing. Live match state is used while a room is running and is removed when the server closes that room. Hosting and Google services manage their own operational records under their policies.

Delete your Hokm account and data

You can request deletion without reinstalling the App. Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Hokm account”. Include your Hokm username or Google Play Games player name, and whether you played as a guest or used Google Play Games. If you no longer know the name, tell us that in your request so we can help identify the account. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or session tokens.

We will reply to verify account ownership and confirm the next steps. After verification, we delete the Hokm multiplayer account and its associated data from our game service and confirm completion by email. Deletion removes access to that account and cannot be undone. You may continue to play offline; using online play again can create a new account.

Deleting a Hokm account does not delete your Google account or data held independently by Google Play Games or advertising services. You can manage that information through your Google account settings. To remove local App information too, clear App data in Android settings or uninstall the App.

Children

The App is a general-audience card game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are delivered in line with Google’s applicable policies.

Data sharing and selling

We do not sell your data. We use hosting and network providers to operate and secure multiplayer services, and Google services for Play Games and advertising. These providers process information needed for those functions. Public match information is shared with the other players in that match as described above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and post the new version at this address.
